Market analyst PlanB tweeted on Nov. 8 that Bitcoin (BTC) is set for a spectacular 2021 with a strong bull run that would result in 6 figure valuations.


PlanB made the tweet in response to queries he received regarding whether he still believed in the often cited Stock-to-Flow (S2F) model


He stated that he had no doubt that the model was correct and that Bitcoin’s price would reach the $100,000 -$288,000 range by Dec. 2021



Referring to new data concerning a supply shortage, he said that it would result in a spectacular 2021 for Bitcoin


The S2F model is a Bitcoin pricing model that has accurately predicted Bitcoin’s price since its creation, including the market high in 2017 and the bottom of 2019, though some believe that the model may falter with its future predictions

In a statement made in Sep. 2020, PlanB said that a bull run was imminent, and that the price would experience either a gradual increase like 2013 or a quick surge like that of 2017


The S2F model primarily uses the principle of scarcity to determine Bitcoin’s price
